Girl, you trippin.

Mary's carseat started tipping to the side while I was driving this morning. I look in the rearview mirror and she yells to me, "Mamma, I'm trippin!"

So I took her to the mall and we picked out a stylin' new outfit from Baby Phat.

That last line may not be true.

Blue Lily in Atlanta

Blue Lily Photography is finally coming to Atlanta. All my dreams are coming true! The famous Wendy Whitacre will be here in September, and her sessions are filling up, so go HERE to book your family pics.
Wendy has an amazing talent for photographing color - check this kid out. I don't even know him, but I would totally frame this in my house.
Wendy took some quick shots of Mary two years ago that we fell in love with.
Not as much color, but who needs it when you're sportin a hairstyle like that?!
Thank goodness the mohawk has grown out in time for round #2 with Blue Lily!

Wild Animal Safari

We spent a Saturday at the Pine Mountain Wild Animal Park a few weeks ago. DANG this place is fun! We went with the Barlows and the Peterson's and we were all a little worried that it would be a little lame. We were happy to find out that this place is hilariously awesome! In a nutshell, it's a big redneck version of a zoo and a safari with some of the craziest animals you can imagine. We rented a rockin' zebra safari van and fed some nasty animals all afternoon. Kandis posted a ton of pictures a few weeks ago, so I'll link you to her for all the action shots.

One Big Lazy Blogger.

That's me.

I don't know if it's lazy or sick. Sick of blogging. I go through phases were I overload on facebook and blogs and then give up on both of them. The virtual world wears me out!

I am back in school in Athens all summer, so I have a fine excuse for not blogging. I am on an eternal quest to continue my education (sometimes I feel serious about that eternal part). So Mary and I are commuting the hour or so back and forth to Athens every week. My motto for the summer is "I can do anything for eight weeks."

Except blogging.

Maybe later.

Braves Game

We went to the Braves game with Paul's family last Friday night. Even though traffic was HORRENDOUS, some dude called me a B* in the parking lot, and the Braves lost ... really, it turned out to be an alright night!

Mary's first game!

The McGuires (and Eli's first game!)
Paul's game face. His losing one.
The Dads and the kids.

We watched Eli for Stephanie and Troy the next morning and I had to post a picture of his cuteness. He's the perfect round, chubby, happy baby. Poor guy was a little anxious about his mamma being gone, but apparently a combination of Mary and Finding Nemo will cheer him right up!
We love being close enough to Paul's family to see them more often. The three hour drive from Athens was not so fun! Now were an easy drive right up I75 to Ringgold and back. Mary thinks Grandma's house is a little bit of heaven on earth =). More kids, toys, and snacks than you could ever imagine! We love it!

Kangazoom

We spent one RAINY afternoon at Kangazoom last week. It's inflatable overload and we loved it!

Here's Kandis and her kiddies
Kenedee, Lauren, and Mary cruisin'.

You Sunk My Battleship

Looks like Mary has figured out the object of the game.
