New Year's Eve

I wouldn't recommend Stone Mountain on New Year's Eve. Nobody wants to wait in line for hours for anything at Stone Mountain, but we did it and we have three pictures to show for it.

The park was so crowded we left early for mexican food for dinner and then put the kids to bed early. That's as crazy as we get these days.

Christmas Days

I've been thinking about posting pictures from Christmas for a while and now that I'm done thinking about it, I will do it.

It was a day full of napping, staying in our pj's, and not fixing our hair.

Exhibit A:

There was gingerbread house decorating ...

 Snowflake eating
 Snow Angel making
 Baby scooter riding

 Lots of stair climbing
 "Silent Night" singing

Nativity Puppeteer-ing

and two full days of Christmas pajama wearing
Luke's PJ's are 100% Christmas pajamas - that is Santa Claus himself riding on those rockets

Santa

Getting ready for Santa.

Christmas Eve.

Christmas Eve in Marrietta with the Mitchell's.

Girl's Table.

 Eric, Lisa and Truman.

Papa Ron and Luke.

Truman and Luke.
(Does this not look like the makings of an awesomely posed Olan Mills shot?)

Mary living up to her reputation of rad dress up outfits.

Squeeeeze your brother!

Lots of little people.

8 Months.

Luke is 8 months old and I honestly can't remember how his 8th month was different from his 7th. A few weeks of sickness followed by a few weeks of the holidays will do that to you.

This is what I know about Luke.
He still crawls.
He still eats.
He still sleeps.

These pictures sum up anything else I might want to remember.

I should note -
First Haircut
First real illness.
Cut his top two teeth
Stands without support
Sucks on absolutely everything.
Loves toys that make noise when he shakes them.
Pats anything he likes/wants to eat (the two are really are indistinguishable)

I like that I just made a pyramid.

December

December was an awesome month. I'm glad it's over but I still can't deny it's awesomeness.

We had Christmas list making.
 Christmas tree decorating.
A Trans-Siberian Orchestra Christmas concert.
One huge trip to the Dollar Store.
(for Mary's family Christmas presents ... ranging from a potato masher to a dog bone).
One teething baby boy.
A dance party.

Christmas stories at bedtime.
Mary's special ballet day.

and another shot from the dance party, just for fun.
